What kind of cars do we ship? We ship small, medium and large cars, small SUV’s, small trucks and select mini vans. To keep things running smoothly we DO NOT ship motorcycles, ATV’s, snowmobiles, large trucks, oversized SUV’s or large vans. Oversized vehicles can be shipped on a per customer basis depending on our current load. Because of the weight of and size limitations of car hauler trailers an oversized vehicle fee may apply.
How It Works: Customers will deliver the auto to the terminal on or before the scheduled date. Upon arrival at the terminal, the terminal manager will fill out a bill of lading, the bill of lading will have a vehicle inspection section which will be filled out detailing the condition of the vehicle, the Customer and Manager will sign the bill of lading, a carbon copy of the inspection report and the bill of lading will be given to the Customer. When you pick up the vehicle you can compare the inspection report to the vehicle to make sure was not damaged in route. Door to Door service will be scheduled as to customer needs and truck availability, with the door to door option, the driver will fill out the bill of lading.
Payments: There are no upfront fees. Payment will be due at delivery, in the form of a cashier’s check, or money order. We do not take personal checks. There is a $20 fee for processing credit cards.

Estimated time of delivery: It usually takes 6 days for our auto transport car carrier to drive from Los Angeles, CA and New York, NY is 6 days. Time of delivery may vary due to time of year and severe weather. Door to Door service will vary as per customer schedule, and truck availability.
Insurance and Credentials: Our Federal Motor Carrier name is Alston Transfer our DOT # is 670473 We are insured with $1,000,000 in Liability Insurance and $250,000 Cargo Insurance, we only have authority for auto transport.

Safety
Damages usually do not occur while the auto is being transported, they are more likely to occur when loading and unloading the auto. When we load your auto onto the truck it will not be unloaded until the auto is transported to the drop off location. This lowers the chances of damaging the auto.
Each of our car carriers is insured with $1,000,000 in liability, and $250,000 cargo insurance.
